I am just gonna speak my mind on this because things are not adding up. Sony recently just came out with their PSN Video Store, which gives you the ability to rent HD movies or rent/buy SD movies. Now here it goes, if you were to rent a HD/SD movie off the video store there is a message that pops up and gives you information about the rental, telling you that you have 14 days to keep the movie, but once you download it you will only have 24 hours to watch it. Ok, I understand that because they show the information about the rental so nothing bad there. Now here's where things start getting crazy. I purchased a couple of movies and T.V. shows off the video store and had them a couple of days, watched them with the wife and friends a couple of times and then I deleted them. So like two days later family come in from out of town and they were asking if I had any good movies to watch. So I went into the video store and go to the download list so I can download some of the movies I purchased off the store. Come to find out that there are no videos in my download list like how the games are when you download one. So I go into the Terms and Service of the user agreement to find out what's going on, and they say, "once you purchase a purchasable content you can watch it a unlimited amount of times, but once the content is deleted you will have to purchase the content again........WTF?!?!?!" That had me all boggled in my head, because I purchased a movie off the video store that I thought I was going to keep, then find out that once you delete it you have to purchase it again???? It shouldn't be like that Sony. It ain't like that with your games that you can purchase on the store. Why is it like that with your video store? Your giving people the option of renting or purchasing movies, but if you purchase and delete it you will have to buy it again. Sounds like "INDIAN GIVING" to me. Also when I go into the video store to buy the movie back because Sony took it from me, it's not even there to purchase again. I'm really pissed at the moment. I understand that you know people share content with their friends and you don't want people sharing movies because you can get in trouble and lose a lot of money, but how come you can't lock the movies to the console just like you did with Warhawk and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue? All I'm saying is that don't say you give the option to purchase movies so you can be better than your competitor, but end up making us buy the movie again if you delete it. I will not buy a movie off the video store again until Sony fixes that problem. I will only be renting movies, but the whole thing is that a lot of good movies are not even for rent, you HAVE to purchase them.
